Day 01: Arrive Delhi late night/morning.

Your Tour Assistant will meet you at the Airport.Transfer to hotel and check in.

After Breakfast visit the various places of interest and historical importance. Dinner at a nice restaurant in Cannaught Place. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi to Agra
Morning after breakfast straight drive to Agra,

home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal emperors.

Visit the world famous masoleum Taj Mahal – An unique epitome of Love built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan’s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized, the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. And later

visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 . Overnight at hotel.

Taj Mahal is closed on every friday.

Day 03: Agra to Jaipur – Pink City
After Breakfast straight drive to Jaipur . En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Jaipur at lunch time. Check in to the hotel and have lunch. In the evening visit the old city – known as the ‘Pink City’. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04:  Jaipur Tour
Morning after breakfast enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of city including a visit to the Amber fort, which you climb on an elephant’s back or by a jeep. The main attractions are the Sukh Mandir (Temple of Contentment – an aptly named pleasure chamber, cooled by a stunning water cascade) and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror palace) here. Also see the architectural marvels like the Palace of wind, Jantar Mantar (the observatory) & the City Palace complex.

Evening is free for shopping in the colorful bazaars of Jaipur & overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur to Bijaipur (Ride Starts)
A five hour drive will take you to Bijaipur by Lunch time. Traditional welcome and check-in on arrival.

In the evening go for a two hour introductory ride so that you get accustomed to your horses. Bijaipur is surrounded by the beautiful Vindhyanchal hills and therefore this ride is very important to understand the terrain.

Dinner and O/N at Castle Bijaipur (A 360 year old Castle, now a classified Heritage Hotel run by the local ruling family).

Day 06: Ride Bijaipur to Bassi
Today we will ride out of Bijaipur moving north. The amazing diversity in terrain and

a very rich flora and fauna makes your riding a pleasurable experience. We will get to visit the settlements of local tribes including that of the beautiful Milkmen tribe. Lunch near a remote village. After lunch we will rest for a while before riding on to reach Bassi Sanctuary. The area is protected and has a few animals like antelopes, wild boar, hyena, jackal, blue bulls, wild cats and panthers.

Dinner and overnight in Bassi Fort Palace.

 

Day07: Ride Bassi to Nahargarh
Today we will be riding in the plains between Bassi and Parsoli. We will be riding along the

Bherach River. We will stop for lunch at ‘Sarola’ a small settlement. After lunch we will ride south-east to reach Nahargarh, a palace built in the centre of a lake.

Dinner and O/N at LakePalace Nahargarh .

 

Day 08: Ride Nahargarh to Dorai
After breakfast we make our way through the southern valley with lush green fields scattered all over

the area amidst hills. We stop for lunch at ‘Damru’, a beautiful spot. After lunch we will ride through the Dorai flatlands. We will reach Dorai Dam in the evening where the safari camp team will receive us.

Day 09: Ride Dorai to Pangarh
Today we will ride south-west. We will be riding through the least inhibited area. We will stop for

Lunch at the old lake of Guner. The ride after lunch passes through forests and we will hardly see human beings. We will pass the deserted village of Bhagwanpura which was deserted about 60 years ago. We will reach PangarhLake which is a 1000 year old manmade lake. There are remains of a fort and some temples that add to the beauty of this place. The Lake is a paradise for the birdwatchers.

O/N at the ‘Pangarh Lake Retreat’ (A luxury camp run by Castle Bijaipur Hotels).

 

Day 10: Ride Pangarh to Fort Krishna
After breakfast we set out on a spectacular ride through high rock cliffs and nice farmlands in a valley. Our overnight accommodation will be in an ancient fortress home; this fort has not been turned into a hotel but is still used as the residence for the local ruling family (Overnight at 17th century fortKrishna).

 

Day 11: Ride Fort Krishna to Bijaipur (Ride Ends)

After Breakfast we will ride through the village and then enter the valley leading north.

There are amazing riding grounds and some really nice villages in this valley. We will stop for lunch near a village. After a little rest we will continue riding north to reach Bijaipur in the evening. The staff and family at Castle Bijaipur will be waiting to receive us on completing the ride.

Farewell Dinner and Overnight at Castle Bijaipur.

 

 Day 12: Bijaipur to Udaipur

Late morning transfer to Udaipur. Check in on arrival. After Lunch visit the City Palace and Museum Complex. Boat Ride in the heritage lake Pichola. End the day by Dinner at a lakeside restaurant.

 

Day 13: Udaipur – City of Lakes
Morning after breakafast Visit the Saheliyon ki Bari, Cenataphs and the Eklingji Temples near Udaipur. Evening free to explore the Markets or to relax. Farewell dinner at a nice restaurant.

 

Day 14: After Breakfast transfer to the Airport to board flight to Delhi/Mumbai.
