Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi Meeting & Assistance with Swadeshi Journeys representative at the Airport, Transfer to the booked Hotel.
Please note, at hotels check-in and check-out time is 1200 noon.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Sahajahanabad, now known as Old Delhi. visit Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Musjid – the largest mosque of India, drive pass Red Fort, President’s house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate – The War Memorial, Qutub Minar and after exploring the fascinating beauty of Delhi, back to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa (drive about 05hrs./275kms.)
Morning after breakfast, leave for Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check-in at Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing visit Mandawa (Shekawati region). This region came into prominence in the 14th century when a number of Muslim clans moved into the area and the towns of this region developed into important trading posts on the caravan routes emanating from the ports of Gujarat. This region is famous for painted havelis (houses) most of which date back from the 18th century. visit the Havelis, overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Mandawa- Bikaner (drive about 04hrs./190kms.)
Morning, leave for Bikaner, arrive to Bikaner – a desert town founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji. , arrive Bikaner transfer & overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner – Deshnok – Jaisalmer ( drive about 07hrs./333kms.)
Early morning visit the Junagarh Fort which was contracted between 1588 and 1593 by a general in the army of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. The fort has a 986m long wall with 37 bastions and two entrances; later drive to Jaisalmer,
Also visit The Rat Temple at Deshnok –is also called ‘Karni Mata’, named after a woman, who was born in the 14th century. She was an incarnation of Durga, the goddess of power and victory. During her lifetime she performed many miracle
It is regarded auspicious, if a rat (kaba) runs across one’s feet. Even, a glimpse of kaba (white rat) is considered promising and fruitful. Twice a year, a festival is celebrated in the honor of Karni Mata. A grand fair is organized during this time and people come here to seek the blessings of the Goddess.
Later continues drive to Jaisalmer, Arrive Jaisalmer transfer & overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
Morning After breakfast, city tour of Jaisalmer. visit the the citadel – the Fort built by Rawal Jaisal where a fourth of the population lives. The fort also houses Jain temples of the 12th to 15th centuries, Patwon Ki Haveli – a five storey mansion with carved pillars & murals of Salim Singh. Also visit Gadsisar, which had once supplied water to the city ; the temples & archways around it have been built by a courtesan.
Afternoon, excursion to Sam – 45 km away, is known for its sand dunes & is the venue for the Desert festival. Get the actual feel of the desert by Enjoying a Camel Ride on the sand dunes and witness a magnificent sunset on the sand dunes. Later evening enjoy the dinner on desert and feel the real fascinating culture and also you can enjoy the Rajasthani Indian Dance show at night and Overnight at Sam Dunes Tents.
Day 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (drive about 07hrs./ 298kms.)
After breakfast, leave for Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur, check-in at Hotel.
Day 08: Jodhpur – Rankapur – Udaipur (drive about 06hrs./278kms.)
Morning visit the Mehrangarh Fort which literally means “Majestic Fort”, located at the very centre of the city. There are ,in all , three gates , each built to commemorate a particular victory, as well as to reinforce the fort. It has a collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture & cannons on the forts’ ramparts are well preserved. Jaswant Thada : Close to the fort complex lies this white marble cenotaph, built in 1899, in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Rare portraits of Jodhpur’s rulers are also.
Later drive to Udaipur. En-route visiting the Jain temples at Ranakpur: The cluster of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. It would take anyone by surprise to learn that they were built in 1460, so well preserved & sparkling is the marble. The main temple is supported on 1,444 pillars – none of which is similarly carved. After the visit, continue drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check-in & overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur
Morning after breakfast visit the romantic city of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace which is the largestpalace complex in Rajasthan; Jagdish temple, a fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651; Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small garden with its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants & lotus pool. In the evening, boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur – Pushkar
Morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar. Pushkar, this sacred town lies 11 km north east of Ajmer and 130 km from Jaipur. According to mythology, Pushkar Lake is supposed to have appeared miraculously when a lotus flower fell from the hands of Lord Brahma and dropped into this valley. Arrive Pushkar check-in &
Later visit Pushkar holy lake and Brahma temple and other temples. overnight at Hotel.
Day 11: Pushkar- Jaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. The Pink City: Jaipur needed a fresh coat of paint to welcome its distinguished guest the Prince of Wales in 1905-6. The contractor inability to supply any other color in the required quantity compelled the choice of pink shade for its walls. A contractor’s compulsion famed Jaipur to Pink city. Since then the PINK color is associated with hospitality in Rajput culture.
The city is garlanded by the presence of number of beautiful monuments that echo the splendid history of the city. It is no surprise then that tourists coming to this city always feel the urge to come back.
Arrive Jaipur and check-in at hotel. Later city tour of Jaipur. visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar – the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal. Overnight at Hotel
Day 12: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Morning after breakfast visit to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant Ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) and continue drive to AGRA.
Enroute visit the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings – The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti,Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion.
Continue drive, Arrive Agra check-in & overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Agra – Varanasi (by overnight train)
Morning visit the sunrise view of the world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal
An unique epitome of Love built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan’s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized, the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. And later visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 .

Later evening transfer to Railway station to catch the train for Varanasi and overnight in Train.
Day 14: Varanasi
Early morning arrive Varanasi and pickup from railway station and transfer to hotel.
Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world. The holy city Varanasi, believed to be founded by Lord Shiva about 5000 years ago, is placed picturesquely on the west bank of Holy Ganges River and is one of the most revered religious destinations in India. The place is also renowned as a place for performing last rites for the believers and the mortal remains are immersed in the water of Ganges in Kashi.
Afternoon city tour of Varanasi, visit the world famous Varanasi Hindu University and the temples and Ghats on the bank of Holy River Ganges also visit Vishwanath Temple.
Evening visit Aarti Ceremony on the Ghats of Holy River Ganges. Overnight at Hotel
Day 15: Varanasi – Delhi (by Fly)
Early morning We will go again to Ganges river to observe (from the boat) Hindu believers starting their day from taking a bath in the river. Boat ride at River Ganges for 2 hrs. Later back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to Airport to catch the flight for New Delhi. Arrive New Delhi, pick up form airport and transfer to hotel. Evening free to stroll in local market/ Bazaar and time for photography / shopping etc. O/n at hotel.
Day 16: Delhi – Departure
Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport to catch the flight for onward destination.
End of Services.
